I had an upset stomach when I came home. My girlfriend at the time was in the shower. the door was cracked open and their was a glass on the bathroom sink. I thought she must have read my mind and threw some alka seltzer tablets in a glass of water for me , because I had called her earlier from work to tell her how I was feeling. I took the glass and began sipping on it, I tasted this very tart taste in my mouth, and I said to myself I don't remember alka seltzer tasting like this, it usually has a lemon or a lime taste to it, and some fizz, but I didn't think much more of it and finished it all.When she finally got out of the shower she walked into the other room, and I had fallen asleep shortly after I drank the alka seltzer.She woke me up and I thanked her for the alka seltzer, she had a very puzzled look on her face; then she started laughing uncontrollably, as she tried to explain to me that it wasn't alka seltzer you were sipping on, it was my duscheing solution.
