Through 2009 and 2010 the Lounge was a Public forum, but for the last 6 months it's been made private as I restored the old Lounge posts. However, I'm planning on taking some areas public again, particularly for Tequila Man's posts on orgasms and such as they're full of great content that were getting lots of reads from new people. FORTUNATELY, as of now I did some custom programming so I can now HIDE all the posts of an individual. Karea, for instance, values his posts be kept private to forum members only. With the new program, I can easily hide ALL his posts across ALL forums, or anyone elses, even while the forum is opened up. In addition, the Lay Reports, Field Reports, and Introduce Yourself areas will remain private. Additionally, all Avatar images will be hidden from non-registered members, just in case you uploaded a photo of yourself as your Avatar. So please let me know if you wish to be on placed on the "hidden" list by private messaging or emailing me a note. Or allow your exploits and insights be shared among a greater number of newbies browsing the forum who need your help in their dating and sex lives, which would be pretty cool. Thanks!
Hey Jesse, why don't you just devied the forum? In some areas which are public and some which are closed for the public? Than you could even make a part where you could post if you have no account yet. i've seen this in a lot of other forums and that was always a good solution...
I like the idea of an "open" Forum. I am posting articles that are from people who are very knowledgeable. Posting about non-mainstream knowledge/beliefs, that will benefit our society, is my intent. Some people will post things about themselves that are very personal. This would be a good reason for making some posts "hidden". TM
i will send you a massage.. i also think that some free parts and some closed parts would be better, because if somebody quotes me and he has not the option to hide activated my post will go full on the internet even if you actived the option to hide all posts from a certain user. and also a user maybe want to share some posts with the whole internet, but other posts he or she don't want to share, like Field reports!
I'll keep the field report and lay report sections completely private. The quoting issue, I didn't think of that. Hmm, maybe I can custom add a feature where quoted usernames are hidden to non-registered members.
