I am in competition with a highly confident man and he has lots of experience with women even though he is 7 years younger than me. I have very little experience. He is playing mind games with the women that we both want and she clearly wants him as she keeps coming onto him. How can I get her while avoiding her going to him? And how can I get her into a relationship? I asked her out and she said no.

Your question is very big and general, "How do I get laid?", which makes it hard to respond without writing a book.

Try to focus the question for us. Maybe lay out what you would like to do yourself to move forward, and we can comment on it.

Is this younger guy your friend? I'm assuming he is for this to be a re-occurring issue.

I'm kind of skeptical of him. He sounds like he could be a "swooper" (ie a male who preys on lesser experienced males by mowing their lawn for an easy first-contact).

    You: Hi I'm so-&-so....(small talk)...can I buy you a drink?
    Girl: Sure
Swooper: Yeah that's my friend, he can be a little weird sometimes.
Girl: haha okay. What's your name?
Swooper: (con't small talk and steals your girl)

Grass cutting is an annoying fact of the pick up world, but doing it to a friend who is trying to improve his game is the actions of a douchebag imo.

If this is the type of guy he is, my best advice is to distance yourself from him, being around him will only be counterproductive to your progress.
