That is true. But the new demand from China and India is whats driving the prices up not the US. I dont think its right to tell them they cant develop themsleves and keep themselves primitive and not have what we have. Alot of times this stuff becomes blame everything on the US when thats not the case.

That being said I hope we do develop alternative sources of fuel such as Ethanol, and George Bush himself is spearheading plans to switch over so the US is not dependent on oil, but it will take a long time.

I think that at least 85% of the men on this forum wouldn't mind having their way with her...She's not the most beautiful but she is attractive because of her looks, her celebrity, her money, and the assumption that the wild party girl behavior continues in the bedroom.

If alot of guys didnt find her attractive she wouldnt be in the news as much, because most guys wouldnt pay attention. Thats probably the reason your wondering what all the fuss is about, becuase shes not your type and you dont really pay attention as much.

Anyway, the ethanol thing isn't going to fly: it takes more energy to convert a biofuel into ethanol then the ethanol produces.

Brazil uses mostly ethanol based fuel for their cars, it works for them. The US is trying to model that, in fact the US just recently struck some kind of deal with Brazil in regards to this.

Brazil relies 10% on oil for its enrgy needs, the US is trying to do that also, how close they will get not sure, and it will take time. Brazil has 20% of cars use pure ethanol and 50% of cars use mixed ethanol fuel.

The main thing that will make ethanol catch on is the price. If they can make and sell it for a dollar a gallon or less then it will catch on quicker.

US has 300 million. EU has 500 million? There's more than 3 Chinese (not asian, ONLY CHINESE) for every 2 US/EU combined

And US/EU pop would decrease faster but thanks to the immigration it's maintaining at best
