Someone called my date a bitch..

Weird field report. I don't think I'd do anything much differently if it happened again, but I have a bad taste in my mouth.

So was downtown Sanfran today with a girl and at a stop light a homeless guy asked me for some change. I was looking in my pocket for $1, couldn't find it and wasn't going to give him $5 or $10 (which he was already asking for). So eventually light changes and HB takes my arm and starts me walking across the street. Homeless guy starts following us:

Homeless: "Hey, I can change that $5 for you, check your bitch man".
Me: "I'd have done it for you right up until you called her a bitch"
Homeless: "Fuck you and your bitch"
Homeless: "Stupid fucking chinese bitch" etc.
Me: "Fuck you"

We didn't stop walking throughout the whole of the thing and there was some more cussing going on.

Next corner I comforted HB and told her I was sorry that she had to go through that. She didn't seem worse for the wear but I'll follow up with her about it again another time. (I'm leaving SF tomorrow after a meeting so won't see her again for some time).

Other than that, the homeless guy on the next corner I gave $5 to.

good point karea, didn't think of that. It was that he appended "chinese" to "bitch" that set me off the most.

I wouldn't normally give $5 AKM, did so to the next homeless guy more for myself. Don't want to jade myself either which at that moment I was.
