    Hello Guys and Girls,

Been taking Spirulina supplements for nearly 4 weeks now and I feel like I am on top of the world like I am 25 years old again (I am 45 years old).

Spirulina contains 50-70% protein in its dry weight form. Plus its rich in vitamins and minerals the ideal supplement for anyone who works the weights. Wont bore you with the details sure you can find all the info you want on google :D

Do you take any other supplements? How do you feel about all the heavy metals in Spirulina? (lots of iron, magnesium, zinc, etc)

Dont take any other supplements. My opinion is 90% of the supplements out there on the market are scams. Never thought about the heavy metals is that an issue ?

I got the same thoughts. Been taking spirulina for years now and i got nothing but amazing results. It contains all the essential amino acids that's why it is ideal for people who lifts weights. You just have to be careful when selecting a brand. Probably avoid those manufactured in China. I came across some reports by the Chinese state food and drug administration that lead, arsenic and mercury contamination was prevalent in Spirulina supplements made in China. Check the label and look for those that are American or Japanese made.
