    So today I'm in NYC (Harlem), waking down on st. nicholas when this cute girl crossed my path..The first thing I noticed was her body since I only saw the side of her face.. And usually this is the first that attracts me on any girl...In my head I'm like wow she has the perfect body, also the way she walked was so hot.. I kept going my way as I hesitated @ first cos this girl was 10/10 no doubt. After a few more steps I was like fuck it I should talk to her. sO I turned around and turned the corner in the direction she was walking. She's on the other side of the street though, then comes a traffic light and she crosses to my side of the street. Now I felt i had to talk to her even if it killed me. I walked up next to her and said hello. @ first she sort of ignored cos she had earphones on, so I got closer so she sees me n I kinda put my hand up like hey what's up..

    Her: smiles, Hi
    me: what's up you live around here?
    her: Yea actually this is my building right here
    me: yea? cos I work around here n I never see cute gurls like you waking the day.
    her: (opens the door n goes in, I followed)
    me: wait up lemme talk to u for a second (she stops now)
    her: what's up
    me: ur cute, can I at least get your name?
    her: hmm u know I'm only 16..
    me: (bummed) really? you look much older, very beautiful
    her: thanks (as she walked away)

    I'm not sure what to make of this..Soon as she said she was 16, I felt a bit off. Still i feel some confident in myself cos usually I never approach any females during the day. I really wish she was @ least 2 yrs older. And I hope I get the balls to do this more often.

    Cool, good thing you ended up approaching her.

    To me, with all the "hey your cute...wait...let me talk to you...please tell me your name..." sounds very GRASPING.

    In my experience, most girls will be/feel flattered as all hell just from stoping them to say hi. You may be better off saying "Hi" and telling her she is cute, but then immediately start talking about boring, everyday stuff. All over a playful vibe. This is to build up comfort and numb her to the fact that you just met her off the street, so she feels good with you and wants to INVEST in you.
