What should I do?

I haven't dated or even hit on girls in ages. Oh by the way I'm 21 years old, decent looking and in good shape, but was always shy and lacking confidence with the ladies. Just to give you an idea of who I am.

Anyways about 2 months I met a very attractive girl at a coffee shop where she worked. She gave me the coffee for free and was clearly attracted to me and I asked for her number and got it. About 6 or 7 weeks since we've met, we only went on 2 dates, since we had other things to do.

The first date was just a quick coffee and conversation. She paid for the coffee. overall the date wasn't all great, but we definitely got to know eachother a little bit. We kept in touch text messaging here and there and never got to a second date til several weeks later.

Second date was a couple days after Boxing Day. we watched a movie. I was exhausted thoughout the night. I'm an amateur boxer and I trained hard right before meeting her up. She was making all the moves, and initiating most of the touching. We ended up kissing a little bit after the movie and I drove her home. I chilled at her house for a little bit, she kept touching me and everything, but i was so tired and out of it so nothing really happened. I stayed for a bit then called it a night to get some rest.

We didnt talk to eachother until New Years day. I text messaged her and wished her a happy new year and asked how her new years eve went? She texted me back and told me her friend asked her to be his girlfriend and she said yes to him and that she's sorry and that she has liked this guy forever. I asked if I can go get my hat from her house cause I left it there and went over and got it. I told her to keep in touch and left. We haven't contacted eachother since.

What should I do? Should I make an effort to stay in contact, forget about her all together, or what? What do you guys think?
